A BRIEF HISTORY OF EL-SHADDAI BIBLE CHURCH

(A PURPOSE DRIVEN CHURCH)

El-Shaddai Bible Church was inaugurated in 1987 after a street crusade in a Nursery school at Animasaun village, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos. Nigeria.

The church eventually received a supernatural covenant to be planted in strategic places amongst the nations. (Ps 2:8, Isaiah 45) The church moved from African cinema, Agbebi street, Aguda, surulere to its present international Headquarters on Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Name of the church is an Hebrew Biblical Name derived from Gen. 17:1 where God appeared unto Abraham as the mighty Almighty God. El- shaddai is the Mighty Almighty God who transforms people lives. He gives abundant life in Christ Jesus (John 10:10). El-shaddai Bible church is a purpose driven church where lives are regenerated, empowered and equipped and fulfil God's purposes in our lives.

THE PURPOSE OF EL-SHADDAI BIBLE CHURCH

A PLACE OF WORSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, EMPOWERMENT.
The five (5) purpose of the Universal church are as follows : (Mt.22 :37-40, Act 2:42-47)
WORSHIP, WORD, WAREFARE, WONDERS, WINNING SOUL

The purpose of El-shaddai Bible church is to “RAISE GREAT LEADERS, Who will be full of the knowledge and wisdom of God and the power of the Holy Spirit and then affect our generation and career positively. God is raising through us men and women who will know God and do exploits. (Dan. 11:32)

(i) REACH people where they are – for salvation
(ii) RECEIVE people for impartation,
(iii) RAISE people for total transformation

Empower and Equip them to attain goals, greatness, aspirations and prophetic assignments in life. ( The three “R”s) and the three “B”s.
We BRING people to Christ for sanctification and empowerment.
We BUILD them in Christ for supernatural fulfillment and service.
